Looking at these outright betting odds, one thing is clear: it’s an open field heading into the year’s biggest event so far. Great opportunity to use new crypto betting sites. With the top five favorites all sitting at relatively congested, high odds, this is a sign that the title is up for grabs. 17 Gaming have their noses in front at 7.00 (6/1), with Danawa Esports and Four Angry Men right behind them at 8.00 (7/1) and 8.50 (15/2), but Gen.G Esports and Twisted Minds aren’t far off either.
Understanding the PUBG Global Series 2023 Phase 2
After a disrupted few years due to Covid-19, the PUBG Global Series returns in 2023 to replace the PUBG Continental Series. The tournament is played in two parts, the first of which was completed in early May in Kuala Lumpur and won by 17 Gaming, with Acend finishing second.
Both a big chunk of prize money and PGS points are on the line in this event, which will be played under the new 2023 SUPER regulations for the first time.
2023 PGS Phase 2 Tournament Structure
The tournament is comprised of three phases: the Group Stage, Bracket Stage, and Grand Finals.
In the Group Stage, teams are placed into three groups of eight, where they will play a round-robin. Here’s how those groups have been arranged:
Group A | Group B | Group C |
---|---|---|
17 Gaming | Twisted Minds | Soniqs |
Four Angry Men | Natus Vincere | Gen.G Esports |
FaZe Clan | Petrichor Road | Question Mark |
Servem Esports | TYLOO | DD Team |
GAME PT | Dplus | Danawa Esports |
FIUMBA | Luminosity Gaming | Friendly Fire |
Theerathon Five | Forest Gaming | Daytrade Gaming |
CERBERUS Esports | The Expendables | eArena |
The top 16 teams from the Group Stage advance to the Winners Bracket, while the bottom eight move into the Losers Bracket. The Winners Bracket will then play out to move eight teams into the Grand Final and eight into the Losers Bracket. From here, the Losers Bracket determines which eight teams go home and which eight move into the Grand Final.
The Grand Final will then see 18 matches contested, with the winner being crowned champion.
PGS2 2023 Predictions
There will be plenty of great entertainment over the coming ten days, but there can also be some excellent betting action at the top PUBG betting sites. Here are our top betting tips for PGS2 2023:
17 Gaming to Win @ 7.00 (6/1)

(100%) 1
Considering how volatile PUBG can be, 17 Gaming have been one of the most consistent teams out there over the past year. Of the last 13 events that the Chinese team have contested, they’ve made the semi-finals all but three times and the final more than half the time. Importantly, one of the occasions they made the final, and went all the way, was in the first half of the PUBG Global Series, where they lifted the trophy.
They may not have put in the best showing in the Chinese qualifier recently, but 17 Gaming are still a quality outfit and your best shot for those who want to bet on PUBG Global Series 2023 winners.
Top Three Finish for Natus Vincere @ 6.50 (11/2)

A side that hasn’t been so consistent is Natus Vincere. NAVI reached the PUBG pinnacle last year, taking home over $1,000,000 in prize money when they won the PUBG Global Championship 2022.
Since then, however, they’ve been patchy at best. Sure, they won the Atlantic Showdown, but they’ve also recorded some fairly poor results as well. However, considering they aren’t favorites to win this event but have experience on the big stage, we say they’re a good bet to make a deep run in Riyadh.
