The PDC Flanders Darts Trophy is one of the newest additions to the PDC calendar. It brought the European Tour to Antwerp for the first time last year. Belgium already has another European Tour event, the Belgian Darts Open, which takes place earlier in the year in Wieze.
Dave Chisnall joined the Flanders Darts Trophy 2024 field to play in his 100th European Tour event, and he made the occasion even more special by winning the tournament. As was the case last year, 32 of the 48 entrants were selected through the PDC Order of Merit and the PDC Pro Tour Order of Merit rankings.
The final 16 places were filled through four qualifiers: 10 from the Tour Card Holder event on 20 June, four from the Host Nation Qualifier on 28 August, one from the Nordic & Baltic Qualifier on 4 July, and one from the East European Qualifier on 9 August. First round, second round, third round, and quarter-finals will be best-of-11 matches. The semi-finals are best-of-13s, and the final will be a best-of-15 battle.
