This iteration will mark the fifth edition of the VALORANT Champions tournament. The tournament will feature the top 16 teams from VALORANT’s top four International Leagues. The event runs from September 12 to October 5, 2025.

Understanding The VALORANT Champions Tournament

This championship is the pinnacle of the VALORANT competitive season, where the world’s best teams battle for the title. Sixteen teams will compete, with qualification earned through a mix of regional league results and a year-long Championship Points system.

Eight teams secured direct spots by finishing in the top two of their respective leagues (Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China) during VCT 2025 Stage 2. The other eight teams qualified by accumulating the most Championship Points throughout the season. This system rewards consistency and excellence during the regular season.

The tournament is hosted offline in Paris and features two phases: the Group Stage and Playoffs. From September 12–22, 16 teams will compete in four GSL-style groups, with Bo3 matches determining the top two from each group. From September 25 to October 5, the eight qualifiers will battle in a double-elimination Playoff bracket.

All matches are Bo3, except the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final, which are Bo5. The total prize pool for VALORANT Champions 2025 is $2,250,000. All participants will receive a portion of the prize pool, with the winner walking away with $1,000,000 and a trophy.
