La Liga is Spain’s top football league, featuring a promotion and relegation system to and from the Segunda Division. The league has been using the 20-team format since 1997, with the team scoring the most points at the end of the season crowned as the champion. The bottom three teams get relegated directly to the Segunda Division, while the top five teams qualify for the UCL, with the 6th and 7th teams qualifying for the UEL and the 8th team going to the Conference League.
The Spanish La Liga had a very interesting relegation battle last season, as the difference between the 18th and 13th teams was only two points. Leganes, Las Palmas, and Valladolid got relegated to the Segunda Division, while Levante, Elche, and Real Oviedo got promoted to La Liga this season.

The French attacker had four more goals than the second-place player, Robert Lewandowski, and he should score more goals after spending more time with the team and having more chemistry now. Mbappe is Real Madrid’s future and key player, so he can finish as the top scorer again, even if Los Blancos couldn’t win the league.
The La Liga betting odds for Elche to be relegated this season are really good, especially since they didn’t make any notable transfers so far, and they even lost one of their best players, Nicolas Mercau.
