There were no qualifiers for this tournament as all attending teams received direct invites. BLAST Slam II and I winners (Tundra Esports and BetBoom Team) will compete in Copenhagen. BLAST Slam III will commence with a group stage, where the ten teams will be divided into two groups of five. To begin the competition, teams within each group will face off against one another in a single-round robin format. All matches in this phase will be played as Best of One (BO1).
Group winners will secure a direct spot in the semifinals. Teams finishing second will move into the quarterfinals. There is still a path forward for those in third place, as they advance to Round 2. Teams that place fourth and fifth will start from Round 1.
Once the tournament advances to the playoff stage, matches will switch to a best-of-three (BO3) format. As seen in other S-tier Dota 2 events, the Grand Final will be played as a BO5. BLAST has allocated a $1 million prize pool for this tournament. The champions will take home $300,000, while the runners-up will receive $150,000.

Falcons’ early exit in their most recent tournament continues a disappointing trend in their 2025 season. The Saudi organization has yet to claim a title, with their best result so far being a second-place finish at FISSURE Playground #1. Despite their inconsistency, four semifinal appearances this year suggest they still have the potential to contend. So, counting them out at this event would be premature.
Liquid’s recent title win at PGL Wallachia Season 4 came as a surprise, given their struggles in past tournaments. Despite setbacks, the European organization pushed through to claim the trophy. After falling to PARIVISION in the upper bracket final, Liquid dropped to the lower bracket, where they defeated Tundra to secure a spot in the Grand Final. Facing PARIVISION once more, they came out on top at the second attempt. m1CKe and Nisha were crucial to Liquid’s win. Both players secured KDA ratios of 6.10 and 5.09, respectively, during the tournament. If Liquid can build on their showing in Wallachia, they could emerge as champions.
